Barcelona Extreme Sports 2009

In 2009 the World Rolling Series appeared in our lifes, being part of it the best events worldwide and this events becoming the most important thing in the rollerbladers agenda.

I was lucky because one of the WRS stops was the Barcelona Extreme Sports, and that would be a good chance not only to see all the spanish rollers again, but to see all the pros in action for the first time. But for me that was not the most important, it was that, surprisely, I had an idea, that was to start this project.

So I start to publish photos with the ones i took on this event. Barcelona Extreme Sports since 2010 is only supporting vert balding.

The Begining

A Rollerblading Story will be an endless photographic project in wich I'll show rollerblading through a series of portraits I'll do in every contest or important event I'm able to be.

The reason is make possible to create a historical archive in wich we will be able to see how rollerbladers, media, industry people...rollerblading, change through the time and how we can see this change thanks to the faces, pose, attitude, clothes...

The goal, is to know who we were, who we are, and who will be.

Hope you enjoy the journey
